4. What to wear.

When it comes to theatre attire, the good news is you can wear pretty much whatever you like - but it’s still worth giving your outfit a little thought. 5. Finding the theatre.

Finally, make sure you allow plenty of time to find your theatre before the performance begins. This might seem obvious, but navigating London - especially if you’re new to the city - can be tricky. If you’ve arrived by train, you’ll likely need to use the Underground to reach your destination.

There are several helpful apps you can download to plan your journey, whether by Tube or bus. Just remember that phones often struggle to get a 3G signal or Wi-Fi connection underground, so it’s best to plan ahead. Tube maps are also available at every station and can help you familiarise yourself with the different lines and station names.
