    Strangers On A Train to open at the Gielgud Theatre

    Strangers on a Train will be the next production at the Gielgud Theatre from Saturday 2 November 2013.

    A new theatrical production of Strangers on a Train is to open at the Gielgud Theatre in November.  

    Strangers on a Train is an American crime psychological thriller written by by Patricia Highsmith.   Alfred Hitchock's film version of Strangers on a Train was shot in the autumn of 1950 and released by Warner Brothers in June 1951.
     
    Playwright Craig Warner acquired the stage rights to Strangers on a Train in 1995, and subsequently wrote both theatrical and radio adaptations of the story.
     
    A seemingly innocent conversation soon turns into a nightmarish and dangerous reality for Guy Haines when he meets Charles Bruno on a train journey. Ahead lies a lethal nightmare of blackmail and psychological torment that threatens to cost Guy his career, his marriage and his sanity. His choice: to kill, or to be framed for a murder he didn't commit.
     
    Get on board for the West End's most gripping new thriller, as the classic Strangers on a Train opens at the Gielgud Theatre on 2nd November. Written by Craig Warner and based on Patricia Highsmith's acclaimed novel, inspiration for Alfred Hitchcock's legendary movie, this new stage production stars Laurence Fox, Jack Huston, Christian McKay, Miranda Raison and Imogen Stubbs.
     
    Strangers On A Train tickets go on sale tomorrow (19th September)
