    RAT PACK TICKETS

Who doesn't love Frank Sinatra and his rat pack crew? This year Christmas With the Rat Pack is back at the Wyndham theatre. Book Rat Pack tickets for a special Christams treat and some Las Vegas glamour right in the West End!

It was the press that dubbed the legendary Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr with Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop the Rat Pack in the 60's after they performed concerts together and appeared in Ocean's 11. However, it has been reported that the group from the 60's never actually called themselves that but rather called the group the Summit or the Clan.

The name the Rat Pack actually originates from the 50's and centred around Sinatra and a group of now legendary actors such as Humphrey Bogart (it is said that his wife Lauren Bacall came up with the name), Judy Garland and her husband at the time, Sid Luft, David Niven, Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, Cary Grant and Rex Harrison. The group with other visitors would meet at the Bogart's home. Later after the death of Humphrey Bogart a new version emerged in the 60's with "Rat Pack" mascots such as Marilyn Monroe and Shirley MacLaine.

Their concerts especially in Las Vegas were legendary and people would flock to the Sands Casino to see Dean Martin in concert knowing that it was likely there would be a "surprise" guest in the audience leading to the audience getting to see Frank and Sammy and whoever else were visiting join the main headliner on stage. In later years, Sinatra would tour again with Dean Martin and Sammy Davis recreating their amazing performances of the classic songs.

All the key members are now passed away but their onstage chemistry lives again with the talents of lookalike performances who also have the vocal talent and chemistry to bring the Rat Pack back to life in concert. The Rat Pack - Live From Las Vegas, which ran at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, the Strand (now the Novello) and the Savoy in London’s West End for four years, gained a 2004 Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Entertainment. Since it finished its run in the capital, the show has been touring the UK and has previously made one-off reappearances in London.

This festive production mixes songs from the era with traditional tunes in a line-up that includes Baby It’s Cold Outside, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Let It Snow Let It Snow, White Christmas and Auld Lang Syne. Sing along to their hits being performed this winter in Christmas with the Rat Pack at Wyndhams Theatre by booking Rat Pack tickets. Don't forget to dress up for Las Vegas!
