Mike McShane to star in Tailor-Made Man

The Tailor-Made Man will open at the Arts Theatre next month.

Joining the previously announced Faye Tozer and Dylan Turner will be American actor, singer and comedian Mike McShane.

McShane last appeared on stage in 2011 in La Cage Aux Folles on Broadway. He is best known for his roles in Seinfeld and British comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway? and also provided the voice of Audrey II in The Menier Chocolate Factory production on Little Shop of Horrors.

Directed by Claudio Macor, the show tells the true story of William Haines (Turner), the silent screen star who was fired by Louis B Mayer (McShane) of MGM because he was gay and refused to marry and give up his lifelong partner Jimmy Shields.

Playing a limited eight week run, the show will premiere on 14 February at the Arts Theatre.

London Theatre Direct is one of the UK’s leading theatre ticket providers, bringing audiences closer to the magic of the stage.
