    Les Miserables tells the epic tale of passion and destruction. Set in early 19th century France, the plot follows the stories of different characters as they struggle against the backdrop of a nation in the grip of revolution.   This amazing adaptation of Victor Hugo's 1862  masterpiece novel continues to thrill theatre audiences night after night.

    Les Miserables is currently staged at The Queens Theatre in London.  It has been at this venue since 2004.  Prior to this, the show had its long run at the Palace Theatre, where it opened in 1985 until its transfer in 2004.

    The Queens Theatre is intimate and ideal for the production.  It has a twin – the Gielgud theatre - which is located opposite, and was built 10 months prior to The Queens. 
    The show had its 10 thousandth performance at the Queens theatre  here on 5th  January 2010.  It was a big year with many tours and celebratory performances throughout.

    Les Miserable’s has had many famous cast member throughout the years including Colm Wilkinson, Roger Allam, Michael Ball to the most recent Alfie Boe and Matt Lucas.
