GOSSIP: WILL SISTER ACT RETURN TO THE WEST END?

Sister Act the Musical was a big favourite in the West End last year at the London Palladium Theatre before making way for The Wizard of Oz and is now on a UK tour.  The rumour is that it could be coming back to the West End!

Currently the musical is starring Cynthia Erivo in the role of Dolores in the UK tour and Patina Miller continues in the Broadway production.  No word yet as to possible venue or who would star but it would be a welcome return to the West End in 2012 and perhaps executive producer Whoopi Goldberg would come back for another run sparking another ticket frenzy!

It seems theatre goers can't get enough of movie turned stage musicals with the current popular musical adaption being Ghost the Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre which is already confirmed as a new production on Broadway next year.
