    COMFORTABLE AT THE FORTUNE?

Watching Women In Black at the Fortune Theatre can be pretty scary...it is a tense pyschological plot that may have you tensely sitting on the edge of your seat, but it is about to get more comfy with new seats being introduced!

The owners of the theatre, ATG are introducing ergonomic foams seats which will be fitted with ProBax technology something that's already used in Lotus cars and is currently under trial by aircraft companies.  This will mean seats being deeper allowing more leg room, help you maintain a good posture and to be sat more comfortably avoiding you twisting and turning in your seat.

The Fortune Theatre built in 1924 is the first venue to get upgraded with 196 of the seats being changed and the new seating is planned for its 39 other venues including The Savoy Theatre currently showing Legally Blonde and the Lyceum Theatre home to Lion King.

Eventually over the next few years they plan on all 49,000 of it's venues seats being improved (11,000 seats in the West End), which is sure to improve your enjoyment of the theatre especially if it is a 3 hour show!
