Ballet, musical and film adaptations of BBC Two's Peaky Blinders in talks

Paul Anderson, who will be starring in Tartuffe at the Theatre Royal Haymarket starting next week, has confirmed that a stage adaptation of Peaky Blinders is in the works. Anderson has been playing Arthur Shelby in the BBC Two drama since 2013.

The English actor has helped stir some buzz when he mentioned a Peaky Blinders musical, ballet and film adaptation are all currently in the pipeline. Anderson's remarks come after the television series' creator, Steven Knight, admitted that the Rambert dance company approached him about making a ballet.

Peaky Blinders recently won the Best Drama award at the BAFTA Television Awards earlier this week. Other actors in the programme include Paddy Considine (The Ferryman), Helen McCrory and Charlie Murphy.

Tartuffe opens at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 25 May 2018 and will run until 28 July 2018. It stars Paul Anderson, Audrey Fleurot and Sebastian Roché. Don't miss this innovative new take on Molière's Tartuffewhich is being billed as the first bilingual West End show to feature English and French.
