Who are the current members of London’s Back to the Future musical cast?
The new principal cast features Caden Brauch as Marty McFly and Brian Conley as Doc Brown, with Maddie Grace Jepson as Lorraine Baines, Orlando Gibbs as George McFly, Talia Palamathanan as Jennifer Parker, and Alex Runicles as Biff Tannen. They are joined by Lee Ormsby and Oliver Halford as alternates, along with a talented supporting company. Notably, Cory English is set to return as Doc Brown from 5 November 2025.
Who plays Marty McFly in the West End?
Taking over as Marty McFly is Caden Brauch, who brings fresh energy and charisma to the iconic role made famous on screen by Michael J. Fox. This marks Brauch’s first major West End credit, and his performance has been praised for its mix of youthful charm and sharp comic timing.
Who plays Doc Brown in London?
Stage and screen veteran Brian Conley has stepped into the role of the eccentric scientist Doc Brown as of 13 August 2025, bringing his trademark humour and presence to the production. Conley’s extensive career spans musicals, comedy, television, and variety, making him a natural fit for the larger-than-life character. From 5 November 2025, the role will once again be played by Back to the Future favourite Cory English.
Who plays Lorraine Baines?
Lorraine Baines McFly, Marty’s mother, is now played by Maddie Grace Jepson, taking over the role in August 2025. Jepson’s stage credits include Millennials (The Other Palace) and The Book of Mormon (West End), and she brings warmth, wit, and powerhouse vocals to the role originally created by Rosanna Hyland, with Amber Davies replacing her in 2022.
Who plays George McFly?
Marty’s eccentric father, George McFly, is currently played by Orlando Gibbs. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Gibbs has previously appeared in Les Misérables (West End) and Kinky Boots (UK Tour). His physical comedy and sharp timing make him a natural fit for the role.
Who plays Goldie Wilson/Marvin Berry?
The dual roles of Goldie Wilson and Marvin Berry are performed by Jay Perry, who joined the cast in 2023. Perry’s career highlights include Hamilton, Motown the Musical, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, along with an early pop career in S Club Juniors.
Who plays Jennifer Parker?
Jennifer Parker, Marty’s girlfriend, is played by Talia Palamathanan. Palamathanan trained at ArtsEd and has appeared in productions including Six (UK Tour) and Cinderella (Gillian Lynne Theatre). She brings heart and charm to the role first played by Courtney-Mae Briggs.
Who plays Biff Tannen?
Marty’s nemesis Biff Tannen is now played by Alex Runicles. A Rose Bruford graduate, Runicles has featured in Matilda (Cambridge Theatre) and The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾. His strong stage presence makes him a formidable new Biff.
Who plays Dave McFly?
Marty’s older brother, Dave McFly, continues to be played by Rhodri Watkins, who stepped into the role in 2023. Watkins’ credits include Cinderella (New Victoria Theatre, Woking) and Carousel (Kilworth House Theatre).
Who plays Linda McFly?
Linda McFly, Marty’s sister, is portrayed by Patricia Wilkins, who joined in 2023. Wilkins’ previous work includes Dirty Dancing (Dominion Theatre), the international tour of Flashdance, and Christmas at Cadogan Hall.
Who is in the swing/ensemble of Back to the Future the Musical?
The ensemble includes Ella Beaumont, Alexander Day, Reece Darlington-Delaire, Helen Gulston, Matthew Ives, Connor Lewis, Louis Quinn, Grace Swaby-Moore, Alexandra Wright, Zachkiel Smith, Emily Woodford, Sia Dauda, Adam Margilewski, Bryan Mottram, Anna Murray, Samuel Nicholas, and resident choreographer Laura Mullowney, along with Georgia Tapp, who also plays Clocktower Woman.
