Adam Kay adds two extra dates to his This is Going to Hurt tour at the Garrick Theatre

Adam Kay is a British comedian, comedy writer, and actor turned author. Kay went to medical school where he founded a musical comedy troupe. He eventually began to work as an obstetrician and gynaecologist, a career that he left after a particularly traumatizing event. While a junior doctor Kay was advised to keep a journal so he could review past cases.

This journal became the basis for his first book. His Garrick show, This is Going to Hurt (Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor), is based on that Sunday Times Bestselling book. This is Going to Hurt spent more than 4 months at number one and more than seven in the top ten. It has been translated into over twenty languages and has reached best-seller status abroad. Kay is currently adapting his book into an eight-part series for the BBC.  This is Going to Hurt will be available for purchase and signature after the performances.

Adam Kay’s This is Going to Hurt tickets can be booked here.
